The steps to follow

Below is a diagram with some stages that you need to go through before you publish some of your researching depending on the time of research that it is. Do you believe theses are the correct stages that need to be followed or do you think that there are stages that need to be removed and some that need to be added?

    The point that it does not cover that can get the author in most trouble is the idea on ethics and breaking any of them. Should this stage be added in to make it a more compete diagram?

    This links to the post "Pre Publication: Ethical considerations when carrying out research". There are steps that need to be followed before the paper can be published in terms of ethics.
    The fact that this diagram fails to mention ethics is a major flaw and I think that an ethics stage should be added.
